They’re about keeping it simple and quick. And stuffing them full of memorabilia, photos and special treasures of your life… and there you have it… life captured and “SMASHed” into your book!

My SMASH Book is all about the little love bites that make my soul sing…
Scrapbooking and memory crafting are two of my very favorite artsy pastimes, because I love to collect momentos from every where I and our family go.
And besides the fact that I keep everything meaningful, I adore all the little love notes and keepsakes that my kiddos give me… so I always have a little basket at my bedside table where I put all these delightful little diddies to look at daily.
One day I decided I would love them even more if they were inside a beautiful book… I called it my Joy Journal.
I have such an enormous collection of scrapbook stuff from over the past 10 years, that I hadn’t been shopping or even researching what was happening in the scrapbook world for a few years, so I didn’t know when I was creating this keepsake for myself, that the scrapbookers were already teaching and learning how to make something like my Joy Journal… and calling them a SMASH Book.
As I said when I started it, it was just about capturing special moments in time shared with the loves of my life, Darsana my hubby and our precious kiddos, Jivani and Jamaili, forever remembered through this book of special treasures that mean so much to me.
These are thoughts and things that make me smile… sometimes make me cry… and ultimately make me feel joy!
For all those little love notes + ideas + thoughts + things + momentos that matter… SMASH it!
